Den Hague
When there is sun in Holland you will find pretty much everyone outside. We took advantage of one those days and took the train to Den Hague. The city is home to the Dutch government and some nice beaches. We decided to only visit the beach while we were there to really take in the sunshine…even though it was still a colder day. We spent the day sitting outside at cafes and enjoying the general good weather. We stayed to watch the sun set over the water before we boarded the train back to Amsterdam. We will be going back to the Hague to take in the history of the town… the US embassy is there. I must admit, I enjoy just getting a look at the embassy during our travels across Europe.
